Remember Yoda?
Sadly Yoda passed away on Jan 28th. He was so lucky to have found a wonderful home with Anita. We are sure that he has taken a piece of her heart with him. Our condolences and our thank you to Anita! We have been privileged to have some wonderful personalities visit our home while fostering rescue dogs. But then there's Yoda, our special new friend. Here he is at a family Christmas gathering in 2010!
Little Yoda was found wandering alone along a busy highway and brought to the animal hospital. He was almost a skeleton at the time, as he has no jaw or teeth and so was unable to eat on his own. We were fostering him, but in the end couldn't part with him. He gets by with having his food finely chopped and being hand fed. He loves nothing more than a cuddle. Yoda's quite the survivor and brightens our family with his plucky presence.
Yoda was adopted from Rosie's in September 2009
