Sofia just turned 8 years old on March 18th. She's in second grade at school, and her favourite subjects are Math and Technology (Computers). She has a passion for all animals, especially dogs, and over the last couple of years has developed a strong interest in helping them in different ways...raising money, donating to special websites, symbolically adopting endangered animals, etc.. She is thoughtful and caring, and has always showed her loving nature in many ways since she was very young. Her wish is..."for other children to also help animals, because animals can't help themselves and they need us...".
This year for her birthday, in lieu of gifts for herself, she asked for donations for "Rosie Animal Adoption" who depend entirely on donations. They dedicate themselves to rescuing dogs and finding them loving homes. Sofia happily raised $350.00 thanks to her generous friends, family and Diva Party! She personally handed the donations to Rosie's and was very glad to meet all the special dogs and the Rosie family this past Saturday! Sofia put her little grain of sand to help...it would be wonderful if her actions inspired other children to do the same!
